昨天在同事的介绍下去了雅加达的一家免税店,实际上就是一家专门卖红酒的免税店,摆列了很多很多,大多来源于法国,澳洲,意大利,新西兰等.以前还真没怎么接触过,看的是头昏眼花.选购的时候也是土的自己都受不了,没有一个认识的.也难怪,以前在国内的时候很少喝红酒,即使喝也都是长城,通化之类的国内品牌,很少问津洋酒.现在不一样了,在国外想喝点国酒也没条件.09年来了,在国外呆的依然那么的无聊,所以给自己找点乐趣,寻找点新的刺激吧,咱也整点小资情调^_^

 

最后在店铺里逛了一圈,基本熟悉了大致的价格水平,一般的酒就都在15-40美金之间.在一个特别的小房子里有些比较贵的,大多在100-200美金不等.其实我一点都不能喝,基本没量,喝红酒也不喜欢喝太苦涩的,听一个知道的比较多的同事说南非出产的略苦些,就没选,大多选的是澳大利亚的.选过来选过去,最后挑了三瓶,价位在20美金左右的,包括两瓶红酒和一瓶sparkling wine. 关于sparkling wine,这里有段小插曲,由于考虑到许太太春节要来印尼所以就特意想选一瓶香槟酒,相信从不怎么喝酒的她既能感受浪漫的氛围,也能比较接受香槟的味道吧.但后来才发现其实对香槟的概念是很错的.但当时还不知道,看到一个柜台写的是champagne就过去仔细观瞧,没想到基本上都是80美金以上的,100,200的也很多,太贵了,怎么感觉香槟比红酒还贵这么多啊,记得小时候偶尔喝过几次香槟都很便宜的啊,难道这家店的香槟酒只搞高档货....正在郁闷之时,在旁边还有一个柜台引起了注意,标明的是sparkling wine,酒的外观和香槟差不多,但价格都在15-30美金不等.看了看颜色也很像香槟,觉得应该差不多,心想也许是香槟的另一个分支或者英文叫法吧..同事已经招呼着结帐了,所以顺手挑了一瓶就出来结帐了.

 

出来结帐才知道原来这种免税店一般是需要大使馆人员才能购买的,要出示大使馆的工作证件,不过今天没关系,海关的人不在店里值班,所以店员告诉我们可以随便买,呵呵~

今早起床又拿着昨日乱挑的几瓶酒看了看,并且在网上查了一下,才知道原来真正叫champagne的酒是特指法国某个地方的二次发酵有泡沫的红酒.属于高档货.sparkling wine和champagne唯一不同的就是品牌和产地罢了.

 

What is Sparkling Wine?

Sparkling wine is any wine that has gone through a secondary fermentation.

Sparkling wine has been enjoyed for thousands of years; created first by the English, and perfected by the French in the 18th century. Though Pierre Perignon, or Dom Perignon, the French monk did not invent Champagne, he did however, significantly refine the Champagne making process. Since then people all over the world have tasted this amazing sparkling wine from the Champagne region of France. But is Champagne the only sparkling wine worthy of purchase? No.

 

Now sparkling wine is made just about any area that actually produces wine. People love bubbly so just about any producer of wine will make a sparkling wine. Sparkling wine by definition has extra carbon dioxide. As a matter or fact up to six atmosphere of pressure of carbon dioxide is dissolve within this bottle. And you might not believe this but a good bottle of bubbly at six atmosphere of pressure has 56 million bubbles on it. If you want to know who counted that? So do I. And actually the people who volunteered counted that. I tell you more about that later. So sparkling wine comes from all over the world. Fifty six million bubbles in there. The most famous of course, I don't even have to tell you is champagne. And all champagne is sparkling wine but not all sparkling wine is champagne. Champagne only comes from a region in France known as Champagne and then make the world's most famous and probably most beloved, definitely most expensive sparkling wine. You can also get a wonderful sparkling wine from Italy. It's usually called the Spumante or Frizzante. You can get a sparkling wine from South Africa where it?s called Cape Classique. You can get a sparkling wine from Germany where it's called the which is S-E-K-T. You can also get a sparkling wine from the New World Wine producers, California, Washington State, Oregon, Chile, Argentina, Australia, makes amazing sparkling wine. Even New Zealand. And those wines are called just Sparkling Wine.
